Rodeo Queen

Hello my name is Vivian Jade, I am16 and will be in the 11th grade. I am home schooled and also attend AG classes at the Montrose High School. My main educational goal is to remain a straight A student. I plan to attend collage to become an Equine Vet and continue training horses. Huckleberry is the horse I ride, he is a wonderful boy. I am borrowing him from my mom until I can get my 3 year old Mustang Classified trained and exposed to more events and situations. I am very passionate about Mustangs and I love training them. I am also involved in horse 4-H and FFA. I am very excited to represent Ouray County as Rodeo Queen. I continue to learn so much about rodeo and the western lifestyle. I love being a positive role model and showing that it is a wonderful thing to stay true to yourself, keep a good moral compass, work hard, be a good and kind person and never ever give up!!

Madison Dean is 10 years old and is a 5 th grader at Cottonwood Elementary. She’s been riding since she
was old enough to hold herself up and hasn’t stopped since! Her most recent passion has been competing in local Junior Rodeos and Gymkhanas on her horse Fernie, who has been in the family since she was five and is now 24 – the two have made a perfect pair! Outside of rodeo, Madison enjoys playing soccer, spending time on the climbing wall and hanging out with friends. She is excited to represent OCRA this year so she can share her love of rodeo with everyone she can.
